EPI
Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency
If Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) is not properly diagnosed or treated, the dog will suffer. The good news is that with the correct diagnosis and treatment EPI can be successfully managed.
THE CONDITION
EPI is the inability of the pancreas to secrete necessary digestive enzymes, Amylase to digest starches, Lipase to digest fats, and Trypsin and Protease to digest protein. When these enzymes are not sufficiently available to help digest nutrients, the body, in essence, goes into starvation mode…

I can't thank you enough for what you give to all the animals that you help each day, as well as their owners. I know I speak for many of us when I say that without your (affordable) product,, we would not be able to give our EPI dogs the enzyme powder that they so desperately need! You are literally saving lives!!! Many thanks!Lisa
So much cheaper than the veterinarian. PancrePlus 4 oz was order through the vet $72.00 later it didn't last a week. For the same price through Enzyme Diane we received 1/2 a kilo. Huge saving! This site comes highly recommended on all EPI forums I have visited. Thank you for helping my new adopted dog get better. I can't wait to see him at his correct weight. I love this dog, I'm thrilled he can be treated so he can have a happy life!Joline Benson/Richie Rasmus New to EPI
Some friends of ours had to relocate to Nigeria for work, leaving behind their 10 year old German/Husky mix, Sasha, in our care. This transition must have been very stressful for her and we think is the reason that induced her EPI. For months she was losing weight, even with 2x feeding, and reached a low of 34lbs. Neither vet we took her to diagnosed the EPI. After some internet research, we saw that her symptoms lined up and hastily ordered enzymes from Diane who has the best prices anywhere. We started treating her in September 2015. Sasha gained 5lbs in the first week and another 5lbs in the second week. She was happy at 55lbs until November 2016 when a heart tumor took her from us suddenly. Though we are deeply saddened by her passing, we are extremely grateful for Diane's work, because of which, the EPI didn't take her and we got to spend an extra year with the sweetest dog we've ever known.A & B Grateful for Diane's Work
