Description

This test is an indication for Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (will not test for B12 or SID/SIBO) and is shown to have a 95.3% sensitivity and a 92% specificity in a clinical trial of 331 dogs of which 43 had known clinical EPI.  The cTLI blood test continues to be the gold standard in EPI diagnosis however, we are aware that not all can afford this expensive testing when their dog becomes ill. EPI’s physical signs can often mimic many other conditions that are NOT EPI…..This test will help rule out EPI (with up to 95.3% accuracy).  Please note that this test kit does not replace the advice of your veterinarian and that other conditions may be concurrent even if there is an EPI diagnosis and your pet starts to respond to EPI treatment.

EPI can not be successfully managed without dealing with diet, enzymes, B12 (if needed) and antibiotics if needed for SID.
